For the Barkada Coffee brand, we centred the identity around warmth, culture and connection. Illustrative elements draw from Filipino heritage and the coffee experience itself - balancing storytelling with simplicity to ensure clarity across both physical and digital touchpoints.

Paired with a considered typography system and a rich, vibrant colour palette, the brand feels both welcoming and refined. The result is an identity that honours tradition while feeling modern, expressive and highly adaptable across packaging, pop-ups and educational experiences.


Kristal came to me with a clear vision: to create a brand that not only looked elevated, but truly honoured Filipino coffee culture and the deeper story behind it. As a concept rooted in education, community and heritage, the identity needed to feel warm, intentional and culturally grounded - while still standing confidently within the specialty coffee space.

My goal was to craft a visual identity that could flex seamlessly across multiple touchpoints - from market stalls and coffee carts to digital platforms and brand storytelling - without losing its sense of intimacy and meaning.

The result is a brand that feels rich in narrative, welcoming in tone and deeply considered in execution - designed to create connection, spark curiosity and position Philippine coffee as something to be recognised, respected and celebrated.
