For Pickled Bakersfield, we leaned into a nostalgic, sport-inspired aesthetic with a modern edge. Graphic elements draw from pickleball culture - paddles, courts and local iconography - while simplified line work keeps the identity clean and highly adaptable.

A curated and punchy colour palette paired with expressive script typography creates a balance of retro personality and clarity. The result is a brand that feels energetic and recognisable, while still maintaining a polished and versatile visual system.

Pickled Bakersfield came to me to create a brand that could capture the energy of a rapidly growing sport while staying grounded in local connection. As both a resource hub and a lifestyle-driven concept, the identity needed to feel engaging, approachable and instantly recognisable across multiple touchpoints.

My goal was to craft a cohesive visual identity that could live across digital platforms, merchandise and community experiences; ensuring consistency while allowing for flexibility and growth.

The result is a brand that feels playful, confident and community-first - designed to bring people together, celebrate the culture of pickleball and position Pickled Bakersfield as a central hub within the local scene.
