Brand Identity & Website Spotlight: Evebud

Evie, of Evebud, is a talented and well-established florist from the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia. She approached me keen to update her brand identity and give her website a much-needed overhaul.

Coming from a long line of flower enthusiasts, Evie has a lifetime of experience in all things floristry. Her aesthetic is romantic, modern and in tune with the seasons, and she loves to work with creative briefs where she can really breathe life into the final installations and arrangements. We discussed the need to reflect her passion for flowers and love for romanticism into the final brand design and website...and looking at the final outcome...I think we more than achieved this together!

Business Name: Evebud

Client: Evie Harrison

Project Scope: Branding Design & Website Design

Key Words: Creative, Modern, Unique, Pastel, Romantic

Ideal Client:

  1. Professional Couples, Aged 25-35

  2. Engaged to be married and looking for modern, elegant and romantic wedding floristry for their wedding, with seasonality and individuality in mind

  3. Either Adelaide based, or interstate from a city or large town location

Ideal Client Spend: Upwards of $3,600 AUD

The Process

I began by pulling together a brand colour palette, and then took some time to explore a couple of font options. In the end, I chose Gallery Modern by Tropical Type - I am a big fan of Tom's fonts and I use them regularly in my design work across The Wonderbrand and Wonderland Invites.

I wanted to keep the designs minimal and refined, but I also wanted to include some elements which felt whimsical and fun. I decided to develop this sense of whimsy through the use of floral, celestial and nature graphics, which include a bee, butterfly, peony and moon.

One Evie had approved the branding, I began work on the website, incorporating stunning photography from recent weddings Evie had flowered. The colours work so well together, and I decided to animate some of the illustrations to add additional movement and texture to the pages.

We included a portfolio, review sliders, Instagram section and a comprehensive contact form for couples to get in touch.

The Results

I am so thrilled with the results of this beautiful project, and so is Evie! She now has a fully realised brand concept which incorporates logos, illustrations and colour palette, social media presence, business cards and a beautiful online platform, which both showcase her work and gives potential clients so many reasons to get in touch!
